Cows for Cambodia
Elizabeth Grove Primary have raised $2158.05 for the Cows for Cambodia Charity!
ABOUT
A big thank you to the Riverland Community and the Elizabeth Grove Community who supported us in our Cows for Cambodia fundraising. The kindness and generosity of our students and the community really shined through. Our students were learning about the specific character strengths of Hope, Love, Gratitude and Kindness. Christine Vlass our Positive Education specialist teacher travelled over to Cambodia to represent our School.
We did it! We have raised enough money for a goat! Please meet our goat (votes are currently being counted for his name). We purchased this goat from the Cows for Cambodia Charity for $185. This money was raised by our students. The goat will help Cambodian Families in the same way that the cow did. The charity provides them to families in a small herd, usually 3 x females and a male and allow them to breed until they have their own kid and then are moved onto the next family. Congratulations to our students who have sent hope across the world!
*UPDATE! Votes have been collated. We are proud to announce our Goat has been named ‘GORDON’. Welcome Gordon to our Elizabeth Grove Primary Community!
